Kurt & Andrea welcome you to Milonga Casera on the first Saturday of the month.
It's an intimate evening of tango and socializing. The name translates to “home-
made” or “home-loving” milonga, and we’ll provide a home-made dish and other
snacks to enjoy each month. While the ambiance is comfortable and cozy, the
dance floor is quite spacious. We’d be delighted if you can come.

to walk into a very funky Buenos Aires like
atmosphere. There will be couches and soft lighting
of course the wonderful dance floor of the Monday
club. Use the side entrance and walk into a
different experience. There will be water provided
but the event is BYOB so bring your favorite
beverages and something to share if you want.

The cover is $8pp and is the honor system with a
box on the drink table. correct change when
possible would be great! The music this month will
be with DJ Roxanne Maier.

We could use some volunteers for set up if any one
has some extra time give me a call :) We hope to
see everyone there!

The evening begins at 6:00pm with a free basic tango lesson that will be taught by one of our local instructors. This is a 1 hour lesson. At 7:00pm open tango dancing begins. The music is supplied by a variety of local DJs. The dance floor is the responsibility of Tango St. Louis and therefore there is a $5 per person charge for dancing after 7:00pm. The Ritz provides a very warm and inviting atmosphere that offers one of the most luxurious places to dance Argentine Tango in the St. Louis area. There is no dress code and you will see a full variety of dress from very formal to cargo pants or jeans. You decide based on how you feel. Bring a friend and enjoy Argentine Tango St Louis style and experience Argentine Tango as it is danced in Argentina. Hear great music as selected by a variety of DJs from the area. Tango at The Ritz is a great way to be introduced to Argentine Tango and it is also the perfect venue to keep challenging the experienced dancers. Argentine Tango - Building the Basics

It all begins with walking! In this class students will be
introduced to the fundamentals of Argentine tango including
musicality and the basic tango movement vocabulary
including connection, walking steps, basic elements of turns
and navigation. Students will gain improvisational skills,
historical background and social dance etiquette in a
relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
