It occurs every time there are 5 saturdays in the month and is held in the dance cottage located behind our house. There is no class as it is just a dance and social gathering. Come to dance, to chat or to do both! Robert McKenney is the DJ of this event and his music is fun and funky yet has enough traditional to keep it interesting! Our address is 10247 Thorpe Avenue. Although we will do some partnering work this class focuses on balance, torsion and use of gravity and momentum in ways that aid the dancer instead of disrupt the connection. We will utilize exercises to learn walking, pivoting and arial movements while working on our posture and balance. This is a great class for all levels of people with a lot of individual attention. Although we will do some partnering work this class focuses on balance, torsion and use of gravity and momentum in ways that aid the dancer instead of disrupt the connection. We will utilize exercises to learn walking, pivoting and arial movements while working on our posture and balance. This is a great class for all levels of people with a lot of individual attention. This means that you ask someone from class or at the dance if they have a partner for the practica, then you come together and practice something specific. I will be available to answer questions on the things you are working on. This is not a class to introduce new material rather a chance to work out the kinks on things you have perhaps been struggling with or to explore new ways to put it all together. This is multi level as everyone will be working with the partner they brought!
